Conrad Mieschke is recognized by
Continental Who’s Who among Artists.
Conrad has worked as an Independent Freelance Artist since 1970, and currently works from his studio where he is most comfortable creating his art. Conrad is skilled in working with watercolor paints, egg-tempera and acrylic. In addition, he specializes in portraiture as well as landscape painting.
Conrad’s artwork has been published in the past in the form of cards, prints, and giclée reproductions by Hallmark Canda, UNICEF, Canadian Art Prints Inc. Vancouver, and by Access Fine Art Ltd. Toronto. He has also won numerous awards at shows on local, national, and international competitions including third prize at an international watercolor competition in London, England. Furthermore, he was honored as 1999 “Arts Person of the Year” by the city of Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
In addition, Conrad is a talented bookbinder and restorer of books. He spent three years as an apprentice in these fields and has participated in two nationwide bookbinding competitions where he won silver and gold respectively.
