She gained access to the local Park District-Churchill Park and has since developed it into an educational park where the Girl Scouts can earn badges, school classes can get hands-on environmental training and families can spend time enjoying nature. She also got Churchill Park dedicated as an Educational Park and is in the process of gathering the funds to construct a building and stock it with computers, microscopes and other tools for youth group education. |
