From 1975 to 1981, she occupied various positions of responsibility with the Société québécoise d’information juridique and the MontFort School Board, located on the South Shore of Montréal. In 1981, she joined the National Bank of Canada as Assistant-Secretary. She was appointed Vice-President and Secretary of the Bank in 1985 and Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Secretary in 1987. In 1988, Mrs. Vaillancourt-Châtillon joined the Bank of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario as Secretary of the Bank. In 1989, she was promoted and held the position of Advisor to the Governor and Secretary of the Bank. In 1995, she founded LVConseils Institutionnels Inc. |
