Dr. Okamura is a solo practitioner who provides total joint replacement. He is a specialist at hip (labrum) reconstruction. |

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and maintains active affiliation with the Hawaiian Orthopedic Surgeons Association. He is also a volunteer Medical Advisor for his daughter’s youth soccer league, Hawaii United Soccer. |

He earned a BS in medical sciences from the University of Alberta in Edmonton and a MD from the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry of the University of Alberta. An orthopedic surgical residency, and sports medicine fellowship were completed at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. A Fellowship with Eugene Wolf, MD, and another fellowship with Tom Norris, MD were both completed at the California Pacific Medical Center. |

He is board certification in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). |

He helps his patients increase their mobility in areas like the shoulders, hips, and knees. Whether he provides care in-office or in an operating room, Dr. Okamura uses top-notch medical techniques to restore his patient’s health quickly. He uses the latest technology, as well as the use of Platelet Rich Plasma, to stimulate natural healing with fewer complications. |
