He maintains active affiliation with the International College of Surgeons, the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American College of Physician Executives. |

He earned a medical degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. A internship was completed at the New England Deaconess Hospital and a residency was completed at Albany Medical Center. He continued his training by completing a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital. |

In the past he has held the distinguished positions of Chief of Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, and has chaired several hospital committees.He is presently on the Board of Trustees |
